ACADEMIC & CONFINED WATER (Phase 1)

The academic and confined training will be covered normally over two days, where mornings will be spent learning about pool skills, dive equipment, dive environments, understanding nitrogen tables, etc. and the afternoons will be spent in the pool learning scuba skills and having fun!!

You each will receive a PADI CREW PAK containing the Open Water "Go Dive" manual, log book, and RDP tables which will be your tools to successfully completing the Academic portion of the classes. There will be classroom videos detailing the (5) PADI modules of training, and you'll complete the knowledge reviews after each module. We'll make sure everyone is comfortable and knowledgeable with each module to ensure your diving will be safe and fun!!!

The confined pool training is your first step to experiencing the underwater world, donning your scuba gear, being underwater and breathing on SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus)!! As a warm up, we will do a brief swim and floatation exercise prior to getting into our gear and going underwater. Don't fret, as the swim exercise is not timed and you can use any swim stroke to complete the exercise!! Think of it as a chance to get in some aerobic exercise!

OPEN WATER TRAINING ( PHASE II)

The open water training can be accomplished in several ways. N-Depth Scuba can open water train you in our local lakes, travel to beautiful Mexico or California locations via car or plane and or fly to exotic dive travel locations!! The certification training takes two days and you will simply demonstrate the water skills you learned in the confined pool training. During your certification training you will be taken on guided underwater tours experiencing the wonders of the underwater world!!

By completing Phase I and Phase II, you will be able to dive anywhere your hearts desire with your PADI Open Water Certification !!
