Diving Since:  1996
Specialty: PADI instructor, EFR Instructor, Dry Suit, and currently working towards her Staff Instructor status.
Gone Diving: Roatan, Costa Rica, San Carlos & Rocky Point, Mexico, Catalina & San Diego, CA and oh how can I forget our beautiful local lakes.
Tidbit: You know those people who are terrified of diving? Well truth be told, I was one of those individuals. The first time I put on that scuba gear I was trembling like a 7.0 earthquake. The funny thing is, as soon as I took my first breath under water I was hooked and knew I would become an instructor! I just had to share it with everyone I knew. Actually, I still have to share it with everyone I know and don't know. When I am not teaching diving or working my "other job" I love to kayak, run, hike, and I have just started to rock climb. Remember when diving -- only leave bubbles, only take pictures!

Night Diver

Gone Diving: Caymans, Belize, Curacao, San Carlos,
Tidbit:   Native of Arizona, yep, lived here all my life.  Started my diving career in 1999, dried out for a couple of years and hated it, got back into the water and haven't left since. Love sporting events or a nice sports bar where I can watch sporting events!  Recently took up golf but I play the ruff mostly.  Other interests include horses, camping and former martial artist.  I support my diving working as Director of Custom Training & Education at Phoenix College where occasionally I get extra time to teach job-specific Spanish besides workforce development and community education classes and workshops.  Look forward to meeting you - you're not alive if you don't dive!

Se Habla Espaol.

Tidbit: Kevin is rarely been bored. With a Grandpa who taught him at an early age to go after his dreams and do whatever you enjoy, Kevin learned this philosophy well. He has rode a bull, became a rodeo clown (for a very short period of time!), gone spelunking with his friends and family in the caves of the Black Hills, jumped out of perfectly good airplanes (whatever that means!), bungee jumped, taken a Free diving class from world renowned and current world-record holder Tanya Streeter, is currently certified from the American Sailing Association in Basic Keelboat, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering, and much, much more.

Currently, Kevin is a full-time electrical engineer, serves in the United States Army Reserves, and MOST IMPORTANTLY loves to dive and teach scuba diving!

Capt Dave O'Neal
Email

o        Diving Since: 1979

o        Specialty: PADI Course Director

o        Gone diving: Texas, Florida, Cozumel, Palau, Guam
Tidbit:  Capt. Dave O'Neal joins the crew at N-Depth Scuba and brings with him over 25 years of experience to our team. As a PADI Course Director (CD-23156) he was on Staff as an Instructor at the PADI International College up until its closing in 1989, he has managed both retail and resort dive operations in locations such as Dallas/Ft. Worth, Islamorada, FL, Cozumel, Palau, Guam, and has spent the better part of his life traveling the globe and teaching scuba to many different nationalities.

He also is on his fourth, five-year renewal of his Master 100 Gross Ton captain's license with the the USCG. This license has allowed him to serve as captain on live-aboards and dive boats from the Bahamas to Southeast Asia.

Coming to the Phoenix valley for a break from the typhoons, earthquakes and tsunamis of the Eastern Pacific Rim - his love for sharing scuba has yet to tarnish. With a lifetime love for the sea and the vessels that sail her, his experiences add a richness to his teachings that bring the adventure into this wonderful sport so that we may all one day find it in our own logbook.

When he is not involved in diving, you may find him free diving (current personal record 118' with a breath hold time of 4 minutes 12 seconds), kayaking, rock climbing, or riding one of his antique motorcycles.
